I only have a cell line and I have no landline. Will this phone work with cell line alone through Bluetooth connection?
Yes, it works. If you have cell line only, you can pair and connect your cell phone to the telephone base via Bluetooth. After that, you can download your cell phone's phonebook using the base. You can make and answer cell line phone calls.
Is this phone compatible with Bluetooth headsets?
Yes, it is. After you pair and connect your headset to the telephone base via Bluetooth, you can make and answer landline phone calls.
Is it possible to add more handsets to this phone system? If so, how many handset(s) I can add, and where can I buy it?
Yes, it's possible. You can add a new IS8201 handset(s) for Model IS8251 / IS8251-2 / IS8251-3 / IS8251-4. The phone base supports a maximum of 5 devices. IS8201 accessory handset can be purchased from VTech's official web site, Amazon and retailers.
How does Smart Call Blocker work?
Smart Call Blocker (SCB) is call screening tool, which allows your phone system to screen all landline calls. It filters robocalls & unwanted calls for you before picking up, while allowing friends' calls to get through. Caller ID service required.
What are the differences between leaving a message in the Answering system versus in the Voicemail?
If you want to use the Answering system only, you need to disable the Voicemail service or set the number of ringer to less than that of Voicemail service. This is free, and you'll see XX new messages & Playback (icon) for new message notification.
